00:44This naming ceremony is for Gloria Estefan, but it's for all the little girls that aspire to greatness.

00:51And I've learned that because of days like today, anything is possible.

00:56We know with your life's partner by your side, Emilio.

01:00You were able to transcend and turn your sound into something that would be worldwide

01:07and something that truly sets us apart in the entire world.

01:12You're about family. You're about freedom. You're about love.

01:15You're a fighter, and yet you make this great music as a humanitarian.

01:20Everything that we make, we put it back in our city because we believe all the way, many years ago, over 50 years,

01:25that this is an incredible city.

01:27Today is the day that you told your father when you were about six years old that you would buy the hotel.

01:30You bought the hotel, and today your mom and your dad should be so proud of what you've done, and I'm very proud of you.

01:37I feel blessed to have been able to share our music with the world, to share the spirit of Miami because we were formed in Miami.
