00:30Hi everyone, please welcome our new update, Tusk Force.
00:42It brings lots of visual improvements, new game mechanics, and of course, a whole bunch of anticipated vehicles and weaponry.
00:51Let's have a quick review of the highlights.
00:54First up, we're updating radar controls for planes and helicopters.
00:58Radar indicators displayed in the aircraft combat UI are getting a new feature.
01:03You can now use your cursor to interact with them.
01:06We are also adding dedicated controls around the radar screen itself.
01:10We hope this change simplifies controlling your radar, and maybe frees up a few hotkeys for you.
01:16You can now record your War Thunder gameplay using Steam.
01:20Save videos with battle highlights and your achievements to share with your friends.
01:24Eastern Europe and Poland, some of the older locations favored by many players, are getting a visual overhaul.
01:32Like with our previous maps, we're refreshing the looks while keeping the gameplay intact to make it easier for you to get used to the changes.
01:40We're constantly working on improving the visual effects in War Thunder as well.
01:44This update brings new effects for missile trails, lights on bright objects, and ammo rack fires.
01:52The fuel dump mechanic is being added to almost all top fighter jets.
01:57Up next is the extended list of nuclear weapon carriers.
02:00At the battle rating of 11.3 and above, the list of doomsday planes includes the F-111F for the United States, Japan, and Israel,
02:09the Su-24M for the Soviet Union and China, as well as the Tornado IDS for other game nations.
02:16Their high speed and countermeasures make it much easier for you to bring nuclear bombs to the battlefield in top-rank battles.
02:23Some high-rank helicopters are getting new fire-and-forget weaponry.
02:28The Mi-28NM can now employ the Isdalia-305-LMUR, or simply, LEMUR, which is its unofficial nickname.
02:37The arsenal of the Chinese Z-10 receives the CM-502KG missile.
02:43And the United States tree is getting a new version of the Apache that can carry the AGM-179.
02:49And since we've already mentioned a few vehicles, it's time to meet the main new additions.
02:56War Thunder is getting a tie sub-branch of vehicles in the Japanese tech tree.
03:01The main MBT of the line is the Aplot-T.
03:04Its high speed, reliable armor, and good firepower are a great addition to the high-rank Japanese lineups.
03:11The Stingray light tank is being added to the American and Japanese research trees.
03:16It combines excellent maneuverability and a powerful 105-millimeter cannon, making for a perfect flanking vehicle.
03:24We are also working on extending the list of top-rank SAMs available to various nations.
03:30This time, the reinforcement brings the Soviet Buk-M3, the Italian and French SAMP-T, and the British Skysaber.
03:38With vigilant radar systems and long-range missiles, these SAMs will provide reliable air defense against unwanted visitors.
03:46Another highlight of the update is the T-58, a premium American tank.
03:51It combines the hull and turret of the T-54 with a mighty 155-millimeter cannon.
03:58Its arsenal includes multiple types of shells, which improves its versatility and overall performance.
04:04The Soviet ground tree receives a new IFV, the Russian BMD-4M2.
04:09It stays true to the family.
04:12With extraordinary acceleration and a versatile weapon set, the BMD can cut through the enemy ranks and deliver major damage in mere seconds.
04:21The most international new addition is the M55 self-propelled howitzer.
04:26It's being added to the American, German, Italian, French, and Chinese tech trees.
04:32It's most exciting trait is its caliber, not 155, but all 203 millimeters.
04:40Destroying enemy vehicles has never been so exciting.
04:44Another unusual addition is an American light jet bomber, the B-66 Destroyer.
04:50It can deliver an impressive payload to a target at a very high speed.
04:53The Thai aircraft fleet receives a new jet, the F-5 Super Tigris.
04:59Unlike its predecessors, it's equipped with a robust radar and can use derby active radar homing missiles.
05:05Fans of simulator mode will be happy to see its new cockpit with multifunctional displays too.
05:11Great Britain's tree is getting a new premium aircraft, the Canadian CF-188.
05:16This versatile machine can carry a wide range of suspended armament, making it very useful in both air and combined battles.
05:25Last but not least, War Thunder welcomes new battleships, the Colorado and the Nelson.
05:31With 406-millimeter cannons installed in their main caliber turrets, they can easily challenge any vessel they encounter.
05:39That's not all, though.
05:40They're heavily protected with thick armor, ensuring good survivability.
05:44That's far from all the improvements and additions in this update.
05:49We're also adding new visuals and sounds for citadel penetrations and major damage dealt to ships,
05:55as well as a new convenient feature for switching between guns of different calibers.
06:00There's also the new Chinese premium Tsing-6, the Belgian Squadron F-16,
06:06and a Norwegian line with various modifications of the Mosquitoes added to the Swedish tech tree.
06:12As always, the full changelog is available on our official website.
