----------------------------------------------------------------------------------October 13th, 2025, Today this year, and usually second Monday in October is celebrated as Columbus day. This day is also celebrated as Indigenous People's Day to honor culture history, and contributions of indigenous people in the Americas.

Columbus day is a recognition for exploration and discovery, though this country was inhabited for at least 15000 years or so prior by the indigenous people. Columbus finding of Americas for the rest of the world could be marked as an event about free spirit, curiosity, and thinking different while persisting towards the objectives waiting for right opportunities and time. However, as presented in historical documents, such exploration and new findings, if misused can lead to exploitation and suppression.

By the way, can you name some other discoveries or inventions that happened in a serendipitous manner?
