A weekend trek turned into a wild rescue mission.
Transcript
00:00These guys trusted Google Maps so much that it led them straight into a jungle.
00:09This is the story of five software engineers who ended up deep inside a jungle in Gujarat.
00:14They were trekking near Jarvani village in Narmada district, trying to reach a spot called Tungai Hill.
00:19But instead of a scenic hike, they found themselves completely lost in the woods for over four hours.
00:30You heard that right. One of them called his mother for help.
00:36But here's a twist. His mom wasn't just any worried parent.
00:40She's a former state secretary of TDP Talangana.
00:43So she did what every 2025 parent would do.
00:45She tweeted for help.
00:47Within minutes, Gujarat's Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi replied and ordered an immediate rescue operation.
01:00Police later confirmed that a wrong location pin on Google Maps had misled them into a restricted forest area.
01:14Thank you, Gujarat Police. We are safe.
01:17Moral of the story? Trust Google Maps, but not with your life in the jungle.
