China's poverty alleviation experience provides roadmap for Africa economist
Transcript
00:00China went from being a poor country in 1980 to ending poverty in 2020.
00:17It's a road map for Africa, incidentally, which I explain all the time in the African
00:24context.
00:25First, Africa should be unified because it's also 1.4 billion people.
00:30So if it acts as a true union, then it can emulate the road map of China.
00:43China was a high-saving, high-investing, well-planned economy for 40 years with market forces and
00:52government strategy and planning, big investments in infrastructure, big investments in education.
00:59And that's the basic road map that Africa too should take to eliminate poverty.
01:03That's it.
01:07Maybe a language may be obvious in African magic.
01:09It's what I'm seeing here at Extergemont Valley as a Christian Sr.
