02:46Pete Carroll was getting ready for
02:47his first season in the NFL.
02:50Right after Callahan was born, he
02:52was the DB coach at Buffalo with
02:54the Bills under head coach Kaye
02:56Stevenson.
02:57So his first season in the NFL,
02:591984, the year Brian Callahan was
03:02born.

03:10And this is what keeps Pete Carroll so

03:49And when we spoke to Chip Kelly, he and
03:50Pete Carroll were rivals for many, many

03:57And Chip told us, Pete has more energy
03:59than anyone I've ever been around.

04:03There's such a good vibe in the

04:05It's a lot of fun.
04:06And he's a great defensive coach.

04:08And this was, it was interesting.

04:13before, right?

04:17then Chip Kelly, they were rivals
04:18USC, Oregon days back in college.
04:21But he really likes his bringing guys
04:23around and the challenge of bringing
04:24them together for a common goal.

05:13But going back to Chip Kelly,
05:15when I thought he was kind of
05:16blowing smoke, when he told me
05:18about how highly he thinks of
05:20Michael Mayer and that he believes
05:21he could be a number one tight end
05:23right now, utilizing him very well.
