Trey Knowles - Grab My Hand

Trey Knowles’ “Grab My Hand”—inspired by his Hate Chicago 60606 Comedy—is a deeply moving song of repentance, restoration, and hope. More than an apology, it is a heartfelt invitation to healing, extending compassion to every Black American brother and sister who has endured generations of injustice, brokenness, and spiritual confusion. Through powerful lyrics and sincere emotion, Knowles acknowledges the wounds left by oppression, deception, and the loss of identity that have caused many to unknowingly live, as he describes it, “eating off the belly of the beast”—depending on systems and mindsets that keep people disconnected from the truth of God.

Rather than leaving listeners in despair, “Grab My Hand” points toward redemption. The song proclaims that God has not forgotten His people and that His mercy is calling them to awaken from spiritual blindness, reject the lies that have shaped their identity, and return to the purpose for which they were created. Knowles reminds listeners that healing begins when we accept God's outstretched hand, allowing His love to restore what generations of pain have tried to destroy.

At its heart, “Grab My Hand” is a message of unity, forgiveness, and divine restoration. It encourages listeners to embrace God's Kingdom, rediscover their identity in Him, and move forward with faith instead of fear. With every verse, Trey Knowles offers reassurance that no matter how deep the wounds or how long the journey has been, God's grace is greater than the past. His hand remains extended, inviting all who will receive it to rise, walk in truth, and experience the freedom, dignity, and everlasting hope found in Christ.
