The Education Ministry will not compromise on any sexual misconduct in all educational institutions under its management, says minister Fadhlina Sidek in response to a case of sexual misconduct that happened in a school in Melaka on Oct 2.

00:18of sexual misconduct that happened in a school in Al-Orgaja, Malacca recently. Police said four
00:24Form 5 male students suspected of committing sexual offenses against a Form 3 female student
00:31at the school on October 2 had been remanded for six days to help with investigation. A Malacca
00:38court has granted a remand order for the four students. Fadlina said the ministry regretted
00:43the incident and she had directed the school, the district education office, and the state
00:48education department to provide full cooperation in the investigation. The ministry said it had
00:54instructed all educational institution administrators to comply with the sexual misconduct management
01:00guidelines currently in use and to ensure the safety of everyone in educational institutions.
