Yan Dong is a novelist whose first book fails badly. Feeling both emotionally drained and creatively blocked, he’s pressured by his manager (Bao Jin) to come up with another supernatural hit.
To help him recover from his slump, the manager takes him to a remote, old nunnery in a kampung setting.
