00:00I welcome the announcement last night of an agreement to secure a ceasefire and ostrich release in Gaza,

00:08based on the proposal put forward by President Donald J. Trump.

00:13And I commend the diplomatic efforts of the United States, Qatar, Egypt and Turquia

00:18in brokering the desperately needed breakthrough.

00:23We have all waited far too long for this moment.

00:26Now we must make it truly count.

00:30I urge all parties to fully abide by the terms of the agreement

00:32and to fully embrace the opportunities it presents.

00:37All hostages must be released in a dignified manner.

00:41A permanency's fire must be secured.

00:44The bloodshed must stop once and for all.

00:48And the United Nations will provide its full support.

00:52We and our partners are prepared to move now.

00:55We have the expertise, the distribution networks, the community relationships in place to act.

01:03Supplies are in place and our teams are on standby.

01:08We can scale up food, water, medical and shelter assistance at once.

01:13But to turn this ceasefire into real progress, we need more than the silency of the guns.

01:18We need more than the hop-on.

01:20We need more than the man we want from the players to follow.
