00:00There goes Maisie! It's a fast break and Maisie leads a field around the far turn.

00:05She reaches the bathroom and overtakes the shower by two lengths.

00:08It's Maisie by one as she passes the clubhouse turn.

00:11In a steady drive, saves ground and brushes her teeth.

00:14Heading down the backstretch, staying close to the rail, Maisie slips into a slip.

00:18And now she heads down the backstretch of her neck and ties her hair into a careful knot.

00:23She shows great form and grace as she steadily keeps her pace.

00:26A dab of this and a dab of that, a dash of this and a dash of that.

00:30And Maisie looks like, well, there she goes in a steady drive.

00:35And now she's back, still keeping her pace with indigestion.

00:38She drives on with donuts and coffee.

00:40The bus takes the lead.

00:41It's pulling away and Maisie falls back by six lengths as she passes the three-quarter pole.

00:46As the bus comes thundering down the backstretch, Maisie goes to the whip.

00:50It's Maisie by two, it's Maisie by one, by a neck, a nose, and she makes it.

00:56And now Maisie takes the lead again.

01:01Heading down the home stretch, she steadily increases her stride as she enters the elevator.

01:06Six, twelve, seventeen lengths in the lead.

01:08And now she's losing ground.

01:10Keep going, Maisie.

01:11Don't give up.

01:12It's going to be a driving finish.

01:14It's one minute to 8.30, and here comes Maisie.

01:17Well, that was a close finish.

01:24And now Maisie is getting ready for a hard day's work.
