00:59For the past three months, both sides have participated

01:06in several back-channel meetings and calls, all in good faith.

01:14We have agreed to cooperate with each other

01:17for the benefit of all people involved in this war.

01:22My representative has been working directly with President Putin's team

01:29to ensure the safe reunification of children with their families

01:34between Russia and Ukraine.

01:38In fact, eight children have been rejoined with their families

01:43during the past 24 hours.

01:46Each child has lived in turmoil because of the war in Ukraine.

01:54Three were separated from their parents

01:57and displaced to the Russian Federation

02:00because of frontline fighting.

02:04The other five were separated from family members across borders
