00:11removed their jackets, revealing the message, Kurakot Ikulong.
00:15Despite being on opposite sides, both Ateneo and UP fans chanted in unison as the battalion
00:19squad left the arena floor.
00:21The team's captain says in an interview that the protest was an act to revive talks and
00:25conversations about the issue.
00:27She also adds that the call for accountability was supported by the Ateneo school administration.
00:32Politically charged messages are nothing new to Ateneo's cheer squad.
00:35In 2016, the group made a similar performance protesting former President Ferdinand Marcos
00:40Sr.'s controversial burial at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.
