00:00Today I'm playing Liminal Skies, a cozy creative game where you go beyond building and bring worlds to life.

00:05And here's what I made.

00:06Some mansions, a cafe, an apothecary, and a farm stand for all my cabbages.

00:12I even built a cave house by covering it with rocks, and I think it's still pretty cozy inside.

00:17I'd live here.

00:18Then I healed some trauma by having the game help me make a few NPCs.

00:21Oh my stars and garters, you look absolutely radiant today.

00:25Your aura is simply glowing.

00:27I'm Bing Bong, and I'm actually fine. Nothing bad happened to me.

00:33Do you know what makes you special?

00:35There's only one person in this whole realm exactly like you.

00:39Let me show you how I did it.

00:41When you first fly into your island, you have a wide open canvas, so let's start building.

00:46You can cycle through random options or change every color you want.

00:49Here I'm just picking some favorites.

00:52I always loved this rainbow stone.

00:54With this one, we can do gray.

00:57And purple wood would look nice here.

01:00For the interior, I think blue wallpaper looks nice with white floors.

01:03Then I like to think about what kind of character would live here, so let's make one.

01:07I'm starting with a random NPC, and we'll just change her outfit a little bit.

01:11We'll go with matching colors.

01:13Now let's make her cheerful, and thinking about whether capybaras would be soft or coarse, and see what the game comes up with.

01:26I like all of these options, but I'll just keep my favorite and adjust it a little bit.

01:30And there she is.

01:37Gosh, I do wonder.

01:39Would a capybaras fur be soft as a bunny or bristly like a piglet?

01:43I've never seen one myself.

01:44Now we can start my favorite part, interior decorating.

01:48So let's place a bed and a nightstand.

01:52And while we're at it, a little emergency midnight snack.

01:57I always have too much fun and lose track of time doing this, so let me skip to the good part.

02:03That's much better.

02:04Very cozy.

02:06Wait, wait, let me show you in photo mode.

02:08But it's not just about this house.

02:11I've got a whole island to build, and look how much progress I've made.

02:14But I still want to fill in the empty spaces, so I'll just quickly paint in some flowers.

02:19And of course my town square needs way more NPCs to feel alive.

02:23Here's the final product.

02:25I had so much fun with this build, and I can't wait to swap towns with friends and see what they've made.
