00:00Nilinaw ng Philippine Ports Authority ang issue sa umano'y overpriced body-worn cameras na kanilang biniliin noong 2020 at 2021.

00:09Sa panayam ng unang balita sa unang hirit kay PPA General Manager Jay Santiago,

00:14P168 million ang kabuang presyo ng procurement.

00:19Anya, hindi dapat hatiin ang halaga sa halos 200 units lamang.

00:24Kasama na rin kasi sa presyo ng procurement ang nationwide surveillance connectivity, servers, training, software at system integration.

00:35Dumaan din daw sa tamang proseso ang bidding para sa proyekto.

00:38Ayon kay Santiago, nakatutulong ang proyekto para maiwasan ang pangingikil at iba pang insidente sa mga pantalan.

00:47Bukas din ang PPA sa anumang audit o review.

00:49Ang paglilinaw ng PPA sa issue ay kasunod ng pagbusisi ng Senate Committee on Finance sa budget ng Department of Transportation kahapon.
