00:53:35Let me start by giving you my take of this tribe in terms of the votes at Tribal.

00:53:41That seemed to be fairly easy in that they were both unanimous decisions.

00:53:46Then you lose Jake.

00:53:48It's dramatic.

00:53:49It's emotional.

00:53:50But what I noticed today is you seemed rudderless.

00:53:54Alex, was Jake a leader?

00:53:56Is that missing right now?

00:53:58Yeah.

00:53:58Jake definitely was the one who had the relationships with all of us, I'd say.

00:54:04And so, yes, here we are trying to figure out who is it that we're going to try and go to the end with, which is so hard.

00:54:11It's like we never even had to think about that before.

00:54:13And then it's like we just had to snap right into it.

00:54:16Jeremiah, you are nodding a lot.

00:54:19Like now that we have to draw the line in the sand and bamboozle one of us, it just creates a different tone because we've never felt like this until tonight.

00:54:50And that's usually when it's more fun.

00:54:52And, um, but no, Jeff, the hardest part is that we do have to get rid of one of us tonight, which is devastating.

00:54:59But if you have to get rid of one of your people, you have to do it for you to survive.

00:55:05Alex, what was most different about going back to camp after losing again?

00:55:10Well, I'm in a unique position, Jeff.

00:55:12I have an idol and everyone knows it.

00:55:14And so, it was like a job application and Jeremiah and Sophie were both trying to apply for this position, who I'm bringing with me, to the next stage.

00:55:24And so, I don't know, I'm looking to fill the position in a matter of minutes here.

00:55:29So, how did the job application process go?

00:55:32Did you have time set aside for each of the applicants?

00:55:34Oh, absolutely.

00:55:35I switched office locations.

00:55:37I was at the beach with Jeremiah.

00:55:38I was in the shelter for Sophie.

00:55:40And it was a very thorough process, and it was really just an honest conversation about the game so far, you know?

00:55:47So, it sounds a little bit more like an interrogation rather than a job interview.

00:55:51I don't know, I'm just used to being on the other side of the application process.

00:56:01So, my friends at home know I love attention.

00:56:26I've had the same friends since childhood, the same nail technicians since high school.

00:56:31That was my favorite one, by the way.

00:56:36I hope that Alex can see that, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

00:56:44She just laid out her entire life, including getting her nails done from the same person.

00:56:49Yeah, Alex and I have this, like, connection, and I think it's sort of like our cheeky smiles and, like, a twinkle in our eyes.

00:56:55And, like, for two people to come together that think the same, act the same, it's just so powerful.

00:57:00And then when you bring in loyalty, there's been opportunities for me to, like, turn against Alex, and I've never said his name.

00:57:07And so I think what matters the most is, like, what's resonating with Jake the most and who he feels.

00:57:16Like, yeah, so I think the ball's in Jake, the ball's in Alex's hand.

00:57:22Alex, slightly different pitch, equally compelling.

00:57:25Yeah, I mean, absolutely.

00:57:26It's kind of just, like, where does the balance fall?

00:57:31You know, when I came into this game, I wanted to work with someone who, like, no one would expect in, like, secrecy almost and just run the game.

00:57:38I mean, it didn't work out because I was with Jake and everyone knew about how growing he was, but now it's my chance to kind of reset.

00:57:46I'm looking for someone who I can see going long in this game with.

00:57:50Like, that's what I'm out here for.

00:57:51I'm out here to play and I'm out here to win.

00:57:53And so who's going to be that loyal person down the road is kind of what it just came down to.

00:57:58So, Sophie, is the scenario you're going with that Alex is going to play his idol, therefore he is safe, and he's basically going to decide who goes home?

00:58:10We all knew that he has an idol, and that definitely comes into play tonight because you don't want to be a casualty of an idol.

00:58:16But I feel that trust with somebody who will vote with me tonight, and we're making that decision together.

00:58:53And I'm like, how would you feel if you played the idol and you didn't need it?

00:58:56And he's just like, I wouldn't regret that.
