00:00Let me show you how you can create a male and female ratio chart that looks something
00:03like this.
00:04Okay, the first thing you have to do is to insert a bar chart here.
00:08Select your dataset table here, go Insert, under Charts, pull down this thing, Clustered
00:13Columns.
00:14And let's reposition this guy here.
00:16Once this is done, let's do some cleanup.
00:20Let's get rid of the grid line and select the blue bars and add data labels here.
00:26Next, we'll go ahead and add some icons in here, go Insert, Illustration, Icons, Type
00:33Person, and then select Male and Female, and Insert.
00:37We're going to go ahead and change the fill color for the female, Graphic Format, Graphic
00:42Style, Graphic Fill, Orange, and then we're going to do the same thing for the male, click
00:47on the male, Graphic Style, Graphic Fill, and men, I'm going to say blue like this.
00:53So we're going to select both of this again one more time, and then press Ctrl C and
00:57Ctrl V to make a duplicate copy of it.
01:00Next we're going to make a hollow out of this, select Male icon here, go Graphic Format,
01:04Style, and Back Fill, we're going to say No Fill, and then we're going to say Graphic
01:08Outline, we're going to select the same blue color.
01:11Female we're going to do the same thing, select the female here, go to Graphic Format, Graphic
01:15Style, Graphic Fill, we're going to say No Fill, and then we're going to select Outline
01:20as the orange color, the same color that we used just now.
01:23Next we're going to introduce this icon to the bar chart here, select the male, Ctrl C,
01:27and then select this twice, like that, make sure this is not highlighted, then you do
01:31Ctrl V, and then you select the male hollow again, Ctrl C, and then you select this one
01:36here, you see how this is selected, click again one more time, and the selection will disappear,
01:40and you press Ctrl V here.
01:41Do the same thing with female.
01:43So you're going to next, you're going to click on this male, make sure you select it only
01:48on the male, right click, and do Data Point, you're going to go Fill, and then you're going
01:53to select Stack and Scale With, and now you're going to do for the remaining three bar chart.
02:04Once you're done with that, click anywhere outside the bar chart, now go and click on the
02:08bar chart again, make sure you select the two bar chart like this, right click on it, Format
02:12Data Series.
02:13In here, you're going to select Series Overlap as 100%, and a Gap Width as 0%, and close this
02:19guy here.
02:20Now to do the last thing is to move these numbers on top so it's clear, and you can actually
02:25see it, and then just get rid of this line here, and then as a clean up, just remove the
02:30rest of them, and you're done.
02:37There we go.
02:38There we go.
02:39There we go.
02:41There we go.
02:42There we go.
02:44There we go.
02:45There we go.
02:46There we go.
02:47And I'll just do a few more sorry about that's alright.
