00:00:00The
00:00:26The year is 1799. With a new century on the horizon, a gypsy people, children of the Fairmoon tribes, are devastated by war and conflict.
00:00:36Invaded by a royal and corrupt government known as the Order, the gypsy people are slaughtered by the hundreds.
00:00:44Small groups of the Fairmoon rebel against the Order, fighting back for their lands that were taken by force, yet they remain outnumbered.
00:01:02Without justice or law on a land, overrun by bloodthirsty rulers, the gypsy people look to the new moon approaching once every 500 years.
00:01:14The Fairmoon tribes pray that God will deliver them from this cruel and devastating conflict, in a time when man and beast were very much like Gypsy Moon.

00:03:56the two flanks for an attack. Leaving the only outlet into these hills here, hiding
00:04:00around his shooters in position. Seems like the most brilliant idea, sir. Now, bearing
00:04:05the captain's seal, we should have the pass taken by next winter. Indeed, sir. The
00:04:10captain, sir. Yes. Permission to speak freely.
00:04:18File. The story is about the captain. The one we was taken in by savages. Is there any
00:04:24truth to this? Yes. I know it to be true.
00:04:32A man to be feared, no doubt. But what chances have you in such a situation?
00:04:37My father was raised in the village next to where the captain was born. There's
00:04:43tales there of a beast, a man-eating beast, that roams the hills at night. The
00:04:50villagers that were on good terms with the chief approached him and asked if they could
00:04:55kill the beast. Go on.
00:04:58The chief gave them warning, not to provoke the beast, nor to hunt near its lair. The
00:05:07captain was friends with a young village daughter. They had overheard the discussion, and they
00:05:13set out one evening with spears and arrows to find the beast. He tried to convince her to
00:05:19stay back where it was safe. But she was determined she would not let him leave
00:05:24alone into the unknown. The next morning, only the captain returned. He found the
00:05:31village completely destroyed. Everyone was dead. All were dead. The captain's father, his
00:05:40mother, his little sister. Good lord. How old was he? I was eight years old.
00:05:49Captain. Sir. Captain, we were just- How you were? Let's keep the nature of our
00:05:54duties and strategic planning on a more military and less possible level. Shall we? Sir.
00:06:01Sir. I will be in my quarters. I expect a briefing in fifteen minutes. Sir. Sir.
00:06:07Sir.
00:06:16Sir.
00:06:18Sir.
00:06:21Sir.
00:06:28Sir.
00:06:28I don't know.
00:06:58Halt! Halt!
00:07:15Go on. End it. Take my life as you have so many of my people.
00:07:28Your people?
00:07:30Children of the fair moon. The gypsy people. My people.
00:07:36Oh. You mean the people who fill these lines with lawless principles and rebellion against the Order?
00:07:42The gypsy people are a free people. What is freely given, we graciously receive.
00:07:47It is your kind that take lands, divide soils, and plant the seeds of want and war.
00:07:55Stand outside.
00:07:58Without order, my lady, all will burn.
00:08:03Like that of the fire that haunts your thoughts and burns in your heart.
00:08:10Leave us, dear.
00:08:15Who sent you?
00:08:17No one sent me. I am here by my own free will.
00:08:22And by killing me, you hope to end the suffering of this war and gain back freedom you think has been taken away?
00:08:27I have not imagined what has happened.
00:08:30Surely you can see outside of these walls at the truth, can you not?
00:08:34I see hundreds of rebel forces. Gypsies, mind you.
00:08:39Constantly building defenses against us.
00:08:42Stealing our supplies, burning our bridges, and simply not leaving the area which we made clear of.
00:08:47Thirteen dead this week, thirteen more before that. Surely there is some part of you that sees there is no right in this.
00:08:56But I am a soldier. I do as I am told from my superiors.
00:09:01Who, then, be superior to them if they believe and act as if they are God, taking homes and leaving women, children, and the sick and old?
00:09:11There will always be casualties of war, my lady, and necessary evils in battle.
00:09:17Any who oppose against the order or strike at that which is to be made for the greater good will suffer while resisting.
00:09:24Those who are among the innocent.
00:09:26I have yet to have a report from any of my officers to state that women and children were left to die.
00:09:32We are not savages.
00:09:34You are taking lands by force for the greater good.
00:09:38My lady.
00:09:39Driving them out of their homes so you can tax more lands and divide more soils?
00:09:47Anyone without the proper documentation must leave the area.
00:09:54This is by order.
00:09:56People.
00:09:57My people have been here for generations long before rules gave me so called rights to lies written in blood.
00:10:06I was just a child the day my grandfather's home was taken away.
00:10:13One minute I'm in a field covered with babies but the next soldiers as far as the eye can see.
00:10:20They didn't ask.
00:10:21They didn't speak.
00:10:23They began tearing out our crops, peeling their wagons, and binding our stock two by two to their horses.
00:10:30Torching cottages and homes.
00:10:32And they shot my father and my grandfather right in front of my mother and I.
00:10:38We watched as the soldiers took everything and we could do nothing.
00:10:46Captain, please.
00:10:48I beg you give leave to your men and stray from this land which is rightfully honest.
00:10:53Leave us in peace.
00:10:57The rebels are on the move.
00:10:58They've intercepted our dispatchers.
00:11:00it's a trap where he gets food and drink.
00:11:02It's a trap.
00:11:03Okay.
00:11:04Take those shikas food and drink on Saturday 3, that's right.
00:11:08Now...
00:11:13I know...
00:11:14After that you'll be die, we will be at the ground.
00:11:19You will die in the guinea.
00:11:20Thanks a lot.
00:11:24After that you'll die.
00:11:25Don't miss your child, my dad.
00:11:26Here's my father.
00:11:28Know this, my lady.
00:11:30This is the only act of mercy you shall ever see from me again.
00:11:34Good evening.
00:11:58Good evening.
00:12:28Good evening.
00:12:58Good evening.
00:12:59Oh yes.
00:13:00Well, the intruder was...
00:13:02Abishing.
00:13:03For the sore eyes.
00:13:05I understand.
00:13:06She was a very beautiful woman.
00:13:10However, I restrained her.
00:13:13I felt the message I sent myself would do more good than that of a public statement, sir.
00:13:18Indeed.
00:13:19We have a letter bearing a seal that is to be delivered on the morrow.
00:13:25It should require enough reinforcements to sweep the entire area and rid us of any more future
00:13:31problems, sir.
00:13:32Good.
00:13:33I have several landowners who are very interested in the land that we speak of.
00:13:37They will build large estates and prosper greatly from them.
00:13:42Yes.
00:13:43Now.
00:13:44We have very little time and so much at stake here.
00:13:47Do you understand?
00:13:49Sir.
00:13:50I want you to personally deliver this letter this evening.
00:13:53The letter to the reinforcements?
00:13:55Indeed, sir.
00:13:56We normally send our dispatches together.
00:13:57Yes, yes.
00:13:58But I trust that you will get this sorted out within two weeks.
00:14:03I trust you, Bex.
00:14:06Then we can put all this behind us.
00:14:08Sir.
00:14:09You're a man who gets things done promptly.
00:14:12Very much so, Governor.
00:14:14Excellent.
00:14:15I will send my coachman for you later this evening.
00:14:19Now.
00:14:20No one but your superior officers are to know.
00:14:24Do you understand?
00:14:25Very much so.
00:14:27Well.
00:14:28Until we meet again, Captain.
00:14:30Governor.
00:14:32Sir.
00:14:37Though I tell you it is a gypsy myth, there is no new moon tonight.
00:14:41You say gypsy.
00:14:42We say that the cattle and the horses of our regiment have been acting very strangely the past several years.
00:14:48Well, it could be a wild dog or a bear nearby.
00:14:51I dare say what if?
00:14:53What if some mystic powers come down from the mountains from some hidden beast into our lands?
00:14:58That there are the hellhounds of some sort brought on by the new moon.
00:15:01Don't encourage him in his outrageous allegations.
00:15:04You both are past being indecent with your ludicrous tales.
00:15:08Though, madam, I do tell you that the moon's reflection of any body of water does create a bear which no evil can pass.
00:15:16I'll remember that next time your friend here makes a pass of me.
00:15:19Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
00:17:20What, my dear?
00:17:24His eyes soften you.
00:17:29The past divided heart.
00:17:35Mother.
00:17:36You knew him?
00:17:38I did.
00:17:40Did he see you?
00:17:44No.
00:17:49Did he set me free?
00:17:53Perhaps these things happen for a reason.
00:17:57Stay strong.
00:17:58See to your people.
00:17:59All has been left to chance.
00:18:05This is madness.
00:18:22If we fight, we will all be killed.
00:18:28Yes, we are outnumbered.
00:18:33And many more will die.
00:18:35But trust that on this night, a change will be made by the new moon's light.
00:18:45For years, we have been under their thumb.
00:18:50For years, we have seen the bloodshed and war take away everything we hold dear.
00:18:55For years, we have fought and died to defend what is rightfully ours.
00:19:03So I tell you now, we will not fight amongst ourselves.
00:19:08We will not bow to the order and its corrupt laws.
00:19:14We will rise from the ashes.
00:19:18Like that which is born of their flames and made whole again.
00:19:22We will rise from the ashes.
00:19:52For years, we will rise from the ashes.
00:19:53For years, we will rise from the ashes.

00:21:51Better get set.
00:21:53Keep the roads.
00:21:54Aye, sir.

00:28:57I am not a deaf man.
00:28:58I heard you clearly.
00:29:01This entire area belongs to the order, including your horse, sir.
00:29:09Sir, you want my horse?
00:29:11Yes.
00:29:12He is not for the taking.
00:29:14I will.
00:29:15What exactly?
00:29:16Here you are without royalty, without servants and penniless, left in the elements and nature.
00:29:23And you demand from those that which you deem below you.
00:29:28But look to me, officer of the order, that I am the one with horse and crop and you merely
00:29:32a man starved and eager to take.
00:29:34Then take our will.
00:29:36You will try.
00:29:53You must have taught me just to be a peasant farmer who would buy out the first sight of royalty.
00:30:02But I too have seen me in a gutter filter my days, sir.
00:30:03Now I bid you a good afternoon.

00:31:44I don't know.
00:32:14I don't know.
00:32:17So, as you can quite clearly see, all the properties have easy walking distance to the river and the most magnificent view to the east, oh my dear.
00:32:26Yes, indeed.
00:32:28And you're quite certain these lands will be ready come winter next?
00:32:33Quite certain.
00:32:35I have the proper documentation being delivered as we speak.
00:32:38The sooner we can get these dirty gypsy moles out of our way, the sooner we can start to enjoy the fruits of our labour and our luxury estates.
00:32:48Oh, it will be grand. Of course, we'll need many workers to make ready by winter's next.
00:32:54Too bad our order could not make slaves of our gypsy neighbours.
00:32:59Oh, indeed. We get twice the work done in half the time, Governor.
00:33:01Yes, it would. Unfortunately, the urge to overthrow the order, and the fact that we have taken their land, might prey on their minds.
00:33:13I think it best we exterminate all and start anew. Wouldn't you agree?
00:33:19Of course, sir.
00:33:20So, shall we start the bidding?
