00:00Maybe some people find this point spread a little bit odd.
00:04The Bucs are three-point favorites this week against the San Francisco 49ers.
00:08Maybe some folks are wondering why only three, especially with Brock Purdy.
00:12Still questionable, but I suppose it does lead to more questions than answers, Adam,
00:17which is can San Francisco pull off another upset like they did last week?
00:22I think so.
00:23I don't really—I don't want to say I don't understand why the Bucs are favored at all.
00:28I think part of that, and you see it sort of baked into the spread there,
00:31is the fact that Tampa Bay is at home, obviously.
00:34You know, we used to back in the day say, well, that meant three points,
00:38and so you're looking at this as a virtual pick-em.
00:40Well, I don't know if people still align it quite the same way,
00:43but I think these teams are very comparable,
00:47and part of the hesitation that a lot of people have in betting this game right now
00:51is waiting for injury designations.
00:53We know that, you know, whether it was Brock Purdy, who you mentioned,
00:57or Ricky Pearsall or obviously Jawan Jennings, these guys,
01:03they all missed last week's game in what was a narrow come-from-behind win,
01:07and Mac Jones really, you know, gutting through it, playing through injury,
01:11was solid late when he had to be, leaned on his old Patriots teammate Kendrick Bourne
01:16who went for a career day, Christian McCaffrey, Jake Tongass.
01:19They were all, you know, just instrumental in getting that victory for San Francisco
01:24to pull this team to 4-1, and, you know, it's 3-0 on the road, pardon me.
01:29I don't think there's going to be any anxiety from Kyle Shanahan's group
01:33about going on the road in what could be a relatively hostile Tampa environment.
01:39Shanahan historically prepares his teams well for these situations,
01:439-6 against the spread in 1 p.m. East Coast starts,
01:47and I just think you're looking at two teams that are very banged up.
01:51You know, McCaffrey is going to be out there for San Francisco,
01:55independent of those other guys, who continues to be a weapon.
01:57Now, he is facing a very, very good run defense,
02:00but even if he is limited on the ground, as he has been, honestly,
02:04several times so far this year, we know he's going to be impactful, Craig,
02:07as a pass catcher.
02:08So he's going to still find a way in totality to get his 100, 110-plus yards,
02:15you know, from scrimmage.
02:16And on the other side, there's still no Mike Evans.
02:19Chris Godwin doesn't look right.
02:21Cade Otten is not giving you what he gave you at the end of last year
02:23when he kind of became a de facto number one,
02:26albeit at tight end, for Baker Mayfield.
02:28Igmeca Igbuka is incredible.
02:31Might be the offensive rookie of the year.
02:33He's been amazing.
02:34But no Bucky Irving.
02:35So you've got Rashad White.
02:36It's not a great matchup on the ground for him.
02:39So you're going to see if maybe he can catch a couple of passes.
02:41To me, I would absolutely take the Niners with the points.
02:44I think there's value in it.
02:46I would sprinkle the money line as well.
02:48I think San Francisco wins this game.
