00:00The Philadelphia Eagles, you know, coming into this game,

00:02they have a couple guys banged up.

00:04Landon Dickerson leaves the game every single week,

00:06seemingly with some back injury slash knee injury slash ankle injury.

00:10He got injured in that Broncos game.

00:12Nick Ciarani talked about that yesterday.

00:13Before I get there, Saquon Barkley also, they didn't have practice yesterday,

00:17but there's always an estimated practice report on a short week that goes,

00:20if we did practice, would these guys have practiced?

00:23And Saquon Barkley wasn't going to practice yesterday with a knee injury.

00:26I saw him take a shot in that game against the Denver Broncos.

00:28Got up a little bit slow, but still finished the game.

00:30But Nick Ciarani said this, Joe, we have to understand, like, you know,

00:34making the best decision for these guys, which includes the horrible turf

00:39at MetLife Stadium, which on a short week is never a good sign.

00:42The Eagles, our favorite, at seven and a half points on the road

00:46on a short week and 41 and a half.

00:48Eagles are the better football team.

00:49There's no question about it.

00:50But the Philadelphia Eagles didn't play that well against the Broncos,

00:53expected to bounce back.

00:54But this is just an indictment of, I guess, how bad we think the Giants are.

00:58Or got blasted by New Orleans.

01:00Sometimes these lines, I go, I don't know if I like that,

01:03but I guess it does make sense.

01:05Yeah.

01:06Well, the line makes sense.

01:08I mean, you know, how many five straight possessions,

01:10I think, had to set a record somewhere in which they turned the ball over to Giants,

01:15which is, you know, this will be growing pains.

01:18You want to start a rookie quarterback.

01:20You wait until week what?

01:21You know, week five to do it.

01:23Well, guess what?

01:24There are going to be growing pains, especially with a team that doesn't have exactly a ton

01:30of talent.

01:31But in the meantime, you know, Philly's got some things to figure out here.

01:35And I don't know that I would ever look to Philly much beyond the first half of any game,

01:40Donnie, because that seems to be where they're the best.

01:44And then they haven't figured out what to do.

01:46I mean, they blew another 17 to three lead in the second half against Denver.

01:51And that seems to be a theme this year.

01:53So while I agree with the line, I think all the value with Philadelphia is better early

01:59because I don't know what you're going to get in the second half anymore with this team.
