00:00IAuto in Mumbai charts a roadmap for India's inbound tourism growth addressing state-specific
00:10challenges and sharing key updates with members. We have now rolling out our skill training programs
00:16and AI training is one of them and maybe probably around 25th of October we'll roll out all all
00:24India bases go to different cities with this AI program Mumbai will be one of them. Recently a
00:29month and a half ago UNESCO has now recognized 11 forts within Maharashtra as part of UNESCO
00:37heritage site which will be a very big draw for foreign tourists to come in into India and in
00:43Maharashtra particular to see it and that's more so even for the repeat visitors who haven't seen.
00:48The Maharashtra is actually launching a maha portal it's a dream project and in this most of the vendors
00:54let's say the homestay, a guide, a hotelier or a tour operator or an experiential service provider they
01:02can upload their activities on the maha portal with a very nominal fees and they can get bookings
01:08through maha portal it should be launched in another three to four months time and we are pushing our
01:14members to become a part of that initiative and upload their activities. So the government of
01:22Maharashtra has very finely agreed the criteria for shortlisting the vendors let's you have to have
01:28a ministry of tourism approval or you need to have a certificate from the Nidhi portal or you need
01:33to be a member of IATO. We are planning to organize one subcommittee so it's a PR committee membership committee
01:41and then cruise endorsed committee and outbound committee also.
01:49Switzerland tourism emerges as a year-round destination for Indian travelers from January to June 2025 we had a
02:19growth of about plus 10 percent of hotel overnight in in Switzerland from Indian guests which is a
02:26quite a good number for us. Peak season is still from April to June from our guests but as well as I
02:32mentioned before we had a growth in winter time of about plus 30 percent autumn is picking up which is a
02:39beautiful seasons in Switzerland so when we talk to the travel agents we really hear that Switzerland is
02:46becoming an all-year destination in the metros that we have repeating us so that means they're coming
02:53the second time the third time they want to go beyond the highlights of Switzerland when we go
02:59beyond the metro so that means tier two tier three cities we still see that people are traveling for
03:06example the first time to Switzerland so they really want to to see the highlight of Switzerland as well
03:11there we really try to create mono Switzerland tours which includes of course our highlights in Switzerland but
03:20then it would be a mix of highlights and hidden gems that they really also get more into the tradition
03:27into the culture of Switzerland
