00:00Initially what drew me, because I'm not, I don't really like the horror genre and I don't really like impossibly dark, bleak stories, and so it was kind of a strange choice for me, but I met Ryan Murphy and he was just like a kid or like a brand new artist who was just filled up with excitement and enthusiasm for this story that he was tugging the thread of.
00:24And so we, I just loved Ryan. I thought he was a genius and amazing and obviously know his work as we all do. And so we had this two hour conversation about Ed and about the creative process in general. And then two hours into the meeting, he said, so do you want to play him? And it was truly gobsmacked. I had no indication that that's where this conversation was going.
00:49And so I just found myself saying, yes, so much based, I would say like 99% of it, of just how much I liked Ryan.
