00:00Mark Andrews without Lamar Jackson against a tough Texans defense or Darren Waller, who was had a questionable tag on him.
00:08And he's from Miami at Carolina. Which way are you leaning and why?
00:12Yeah, I'm going to lean here with Darren Waller, believe it or not.
00:15And I'm not trying to be prisoner of the moment of what I saw on Monday Night Football.
00:19I'm not trying to do that at all. But there is an increased need for him in this offense.
00:23Now there is an open opportunity for target share in this offense now.
00:27And I think those two things and the touchdown equity he would bring helps.
00:32And we've seen already last year, John Smith, what he was able to do in this offense.
00:35So if they think Darren Waller can be even a 70% version of that, well, that's, I think, more useful right now than Mark Andrews with Cooper Rush playing quarterback against a really tough Houston Texans defense.
00:46That's the one thing. Texas defense is very good still. So I'm actually going to lean with a streamer Darren Waller here.
00:52And again, just hoping for the best. I like the quarterback situation more.
00:56And I think whenever you're trying to make these starts of decisions, eventually it always comes down to who's leading the offense for these guys.
01:02And if you like the answer of Tua Tunga-Vailoa more than Cooper Rush, I think that's your answer right there.
01:07Well said. All right. This Carolina game actually has another feature here.
01:12Is it Rico Dowdle, who seems to have a workload in front of him, RB34?
01:16Or is it Michael Carter? Now we're hearing a lot about what's going to go on in Arizona's backfield.
01:21Probably a timeshare. He's RB35. Joe, which way you lean in and why?
01:25Yeah. Again, this is not pretty.
01:28Boy, Joe, silence speaks volumes, my friends.
01:32I wish the – I wish the – I wish these weren't the decisions we had to make in week five.
01:40It's like I'm in a mourning period almost, I feel like, for the running back position already.
01:44And it's just kind of rough. And here we are.
01:48I think nobody knows the answer to what the Michael Carter demarcato backfield looks like.
01:54Nobody does. We can all speculate, pretend we do.
01:56We think we know demarcato's role kind of looks like more of the passing guy,
02:00and Carter looks more like the early down guy.
02:02That's a good theory for us to have.
02:04But we don't know in practice what it looks like.
02:05And I don't know trusting the Arizona Cardinals offense is going to put us in a good spot.
02:10That being said, then we've got to look at Rico Dowdle here with the Carolina Panthers.
02:14Now, Rico Dowdle is a guy that I think is a decent running back.
02:17We've seen him get some opportunities to be the guy in short spurts when he was with the Cowboys.
02:21Without Chuba Hubbard today, I think I lean towards Rico Dowdle.
02:25I don't think he's going to be the only guy to work, but I think he's going to be mostly that guy.
02:29And I think that's the best we can hope for under the circumstances.
02:32But Matt, it's been rough.
02:34I mean, I'm sure for your fantasy teams too, like mine, we're all trying to just figure it out right now.
02:39But I think the other thing you've got to look at too is some of these streaming tight ends you're going to have to look at.
02:43We talked earlier, looking like Brock Bowers, you know, hadn't practiced all week.
02:47That's never a good sign.
02:48It doesn't look like he's going to play.
02:49I know, you know, we were just a kickoff here for the early games coming up.
02:53So we'll get you updated there.
02:54But it does feel like right now people are spending more fab in week five than I feel like we could possibly imagine.
03:01Do you agree?
03:02Absolutely.
03:03And I think that's why I find myself each and every day, multiple times a day, just looking at my team.
03:08I know a lot of us do this, looking at the league transactions, looking at other teams,
03:12seeing who they have, who's out, thinking of trades.
03:15The good thing is that everyone is being affected by what's going on.
03:19And if there is a team that just happened to be lucky and you're looking at a team that's sitting undefeated,
03:24it's still a long season and there's still plenty of time, even if you have no wins at all.
03:29If you just continue to monitor the league, monitor your league as well, Joe,
03:34I think it just helps inform things overall.
03:36And I found that it's helped my wagering.
03:38So there you go.
03:38On the other side of this break, we're going to do waiver wire ads.
03:41So there's always help coming, Joe.
03:43Yeah, always help coming.
03:45And we're going to try to give you every possible situation we can here and scenarios to add some players.
03:51And if you watched last week, you added Woody Marks early.
03:53And it's about getting ahead of the curve when it comes to some of those guys,
03:57trying to look at what the waiver wire is going to look like next week.
03:59And let's get those guys on our roster now, just in case, because it saves us a lot of money.
04:03Imagine how much money you spent on Woody Marks this week after that Sunday performance, right?
04:08Now, all of a sudden, like, it looks like he is the new guy in that Texans backfield.
04:12He's got a good matchup today.
04:13He's easily a guy you could play against the Ravens with the way that defense is played.
04:16So, again, let's get ahead of the curve.
04:19Let's look at what the waiver wire could be during the week and some guys that can help us in week five get the job done.
