It shoots out 80ft flames as it screams down the runway, burning an incredible 150 gallons of fuel in a single run. 00:07Breathing fire and hitting speeds of 367mph, no kid would ever be late taking this bus to school.
00:15Then again, most aren't fitted with a phantom firetoucher engine, yielding 42,000 horsepower.
00:31The vehicle, which has been christened Schooltime, is the creation of Paul Stender and his Indie
00:36Boys Inc team.
00:40Together they wow crowds at shows across North America.
00:43And there you have it, the school bus wins.
00:52The American style bus can burn more than 150 gallons of fuel in just one quarter of a
00:57mile run, sending 80 foot flames from the afterburner.
01:04Yet despite its massive engine, there are still three passenger seats for those brave enough
01:08to take a ride.
01:10Sadly, as it's only for shows, no children will be making the super fast school trips
