A 25-YEAR-OLD WOMAN in London has covered her Lamborghini Aventador in two million crystals. Daria Radionova spent over $450,000  on the Lamborghini but refused to say how much it cost to apply the crystals to the car. The Aventador is Daria’s fourth crystal-covered car, after she was inspired by a pair of crystal-covered Louboutin shoes she owns. The spectacular car modification was accomplished by a team that included cake decorators and henna artists and took over three months to complete. Incredibly Daria is now planning her next crystal covered make-over – on a $1.4 million Bugatti. 00:00There are two million crystals on the Aventador. Some people say that I wasted so much money

00:05on this car, which is not true. I like something shiny.

00:14So it's actually impossible to take any crystal of this car because the glue is so strong.

00:18You can try it. If I had to describe my car in three words, it would be unique,

00:23photogenic and beautiful. In the world of supercars, the Lamborghini will always reign

00:29supreme. But what happens when you take an Aventador and give it the ultimate bling makeover?

00:47This is Daria and she's done just that. My name is Daria Rodionova and I own the world's first

00:54crystal-covered Lamborghini. It might be the first of its kind, but Daria's inspiration for her

01:00bedazzled car came from something a lot smaller. So basically I had shoes from Laboutin covered in

01:07crystals and I was like, why not to cover my car like this, full of crystals? And that's how the

01:14idea came up. Girls, we love diamonds, we love everything shiny and sparkling. So that's why I

01:22decided to put crystals because I like something shiny, shiny look. There are two million crystals

01:29on the Aventador. It took around three months to finish the job. Every single crystal was applied by hand.

01:41Taking on the task of kitting out this Lamborghini with thousands of crystals was Amir.

01:45I'm the owner and founder of Cars in Cloaks and here we have a simple rule. If you can dream it,

01:51we'll build it for you. So the car came to us in red. I was scared. I was like, I'm not going to do it.

01:57So not only, I'm taking on a Lamborghini. Yeah, one of the most popular expensive supercars that I'm

02:04covering with two million crystals. No way I'm doing it. We had not done anything so extensive to a

02:11Lamborghini Aventador and we ended up doing the craziest thing to it. The process of covering

02:16the car in crystals was meticulous. The first layer is a see-through PPF layer which protects the paint

02:21from stone shapes and whatnot. On top of that we've got black vinyl which still has a base for the

02:27crystals. The crystals are also black to enhance it. So we went for a gloss black finish underneath and

02:33then there's glue on top of the vinyl which holds the crystals down. So in theory if she ever wants to

02:38go back to red, she can. The bonnet took probably about five days for two people to complete. There

02:44were times where I thought I would give up. The team almost had it. So a lot of late nights, a lot of pizzas.

02:52With the Aventador being one of the priciest cars on the market, covering it with crystals must have been expensive.

03:00I got the car for £350,000 and because it has crystals now, it's priceless. I can't say how

03:07much it costs because it's a secret. Covering one car in crystals is a huge challenge but incredibly

03:14this isn't a first for Daria. So Lamborghini Aventador is not the first car I had covered in

03:21crystals. Before that I had Mercedes CLS covered in crystals and then I had Bentley and then I had

03:28Lamborghini Huracan. So after Huracan I decided that I want to upgrade it and I got Aventador. Driving this

03:36pimped out supercar around London, it's no surprise it attracts a fair amount of attention.

03:42I do not predict how popular the car will become. In my opinion Lamborghini is the, especially Aventador,

03:50is the best car on earth. I love the drive, I love the handle of the car, I love the power, the sound,

03:57the look, everything. Some people say that I wasted so much money on this car which is not true. That's

04:08something that I really love, it's my hobby and I love fast cars. So the next car I'm planning to

04:13cover in crystals is going to be Bugatti. Just watch me.
