UST dominates UE after loss to NU  Bouncing back big time after losing to the NU Bulldogs on Oct. 1, 2025, the UST Growling Tigers dominate the UE Red Warriors, 111-99, in UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion on Oct. 4. Collins Akowe regained his dominant form and posted 18 points, 17 rebounds, and three blocks after being limited to just five points and eight rebounds by the Bulldogs at the same venue. Akowe joined hands with Nic Cabañero who racked up 22 points and eight assists for the Tigers, who overwhelmed the Warriors in the second half after trailing by nine, 15-24, in the first frame. Forth Padrigao also came through with 18 points, six assists, and six steals for the second running UST, which led by as many as 20 and elevated to 3-1. John Abate poured 27 points and seven assists to pace the cellar-dwelling UE which stayed winless at 0-4.  VIDEO BY NIEL V.
