00:00Greetings and salutations gamers and comic book aficionados alike.

00:06This is JohnTheGamer64 coming at you with a new trading card collection showcase.

00:14And today we'll be showcasing the Ultra Fleer or Fleer Ultra X-Men trading cards, both 95 and 96.

00:22And these cards really hold a very nostalgic place in my heart.

00:30It was a great childhood memory, man.

00:33So I remember my dad buying a couple packs of these cards for me and my brother.

00:39And I remember specifically the 95 cards.

00:43The packaging was amazing.

00:44I'm like, holy shit, dude.

00:45They were hollow foil and the art on the packaging just looked immaculate.

00:51And that was just a sign of things to come once we opened the cards themselves.

00:55Like, holy shit, man.

00:56And I just fell in love with these cards ever since.

01:02So we used to have a fair-sized collection of them back in the day.

01:08But we actually lost them in a move.

01:11Oh, dude, it was so devastating that we lost them.

01:15Because, you know, we almost completed the whole collection, too.

01:18You know, we even had a couple of hollow foil cards, chaser cards, and whatnot.

01:25But we had a decent-sized collection.

01:27We almost completed it, too.

01:28So, but a couple years later, my brother and my dad actually picked up, like, a big box full of them.

01:39I guess they got a great deal on them.

01:40So they got a lot of the doubles.

01:44And they actually gave me some of the doubles.

01:47And then I started buying some more of them.

01:50Specifically, I like the chromium ones from the 96 line.

01:54But if we're talking about the artwork, like, just the regular artwork on the cards, I think 95 was probably the best.

02:03But then 96, loves the chromium.

02:07But anyways, yeah, let's dive right into the collection and go from there.

02:14And then we have this nice little clear binder that I have them in.

02:17Also put a pretty sweet X-Men Children of the Atom holo sticker.

02:23To really spice it up.

02:26Alright.

02:29So I'm going to start off with the 95 here.

02:38Like, man, trading cards are definitely a work of art, man.

03:54I like the little shiny, like, gold text or font here for the cards.

04:04I mean, the art just already makes it pop by itself, but damn.

04:15Or, I guess, hollow blue, we'll just call it.

04:19We've got Dugaluck.

04:41And that's what was cool about these cards.

04:42They tell you what faction of Mutants they were with.

04:47Pretty cool.

04:58Team Excalibur.

05:05You got Goro.

05:06Nice.

05:07Some dude named Forearm.

05:13Mutant Liberation 4 at rainfire.

05:20Kicked ass in Wolverine and Deadpool, man.

05:38It's crazy how he's never been in any of like the Marvelous Capcom games.

05:43Or even the games before it.

05:45Like X-Men vs. Street Fighter.

05:48Would have been an awesome character to play with.

06:56I wonder if he was like loosely based off the clone.

07:24Just look at that art.

08:33Obviously Merlin.

08:40So I did buy a lot of these Chromium ones.

14:27And then we got the Chromium Gambits.

14:29and Legion.

14:37So, yep.

14:38That is the collection, ladies and gents.

14:43Fucking love these cards.

14:44If I ever find some other packs that are cheap,

14:48I'll definitely be collecting more.

14:52Maybe collect the collection one day.

14:53But, it's not my top priority.

14:56I fucking love the Chromium card so much.

15:00And, of course, the 95.
