00:00React is great. Spell is great. View is great. Solid is great. You can't really make a bad
00:10choice. So then how do you differentiate yourself when you can't make a bad choice?
00:14We were building an internal tool and Mishko was on this team and he said I can rebuild the
00:25whole thing in two weeks with this little side project I have. I didn't quite make
00:30it, did I? Not quite. It took me three weeks. We tried to talk to Google Maps, we tried to
00:34talk to Gmail, they were kind of like looking at what we were doing like yeah
00:37this is a good toy, good luck with that. If you are building a solution with
00:42developers in mind, friction has to be as close to zero as possible from the get-go
00:46and AngularJS got that right. Or you could just type in an input box and it would
00:52spell it backwards on the next line and you could do that without any JavaScript
00:56just HTML. That demo was something that the web had never ever seen before.
01:01We killed the controller.
01:06The developers were pissed.
01:08The messaging was always, it's just Angular, it's just Angular. And that wasn't true.
01:12You are all liars.
01:13Yeah, there's a lot to say about Ivy.
01:17We didn't want to break the world again.
01:20So we shipped Ivy, right? Party, celebration, woohoo. Except it wasn't turned on at Google.
01:26We're all very aware of like people saying stuff like oh well Angular's dead and don't ever use Angular.
01:32There was not a connection between their worth, their real worth and people understanding that worth above.
01:42We can not invest or we could reinvest.
01:45One of the things that was very clear to us that we want to have a reactivity system that can be used anywhere.
01:52Angular was being viewed as kind of a legacy framework in certain ways from the outside world and he felt that we needed to do something to change that.
02:02Angular and Wiz are going to be working together even more closely.
02:05This convergence story, if all goes well, means that Angular will be powering Google search.
02:12The beginning of the new era of Angular, that's how I see it. And it's really exciting to be part of it.
02:18We need to move from all of you.
02:23We need to move from all of us that all have to evolve
02:26Alexa.
02:27Yeah.
02:27Gracias for the time.
02:27We'll work from23.
02:29We'll be back.
02:29So whatever you've done about us then you.
02:32Beautiful.
02:33Twitter.
02:34Andllof College.
02:35Portal playing in charge of the family,
02:37anything more than anybody.
02:37It just went on with us anyway.
02:39So if anybody is external or given us,
02:40it doesn't occur in any knowledge now.
02:41Somebody is insustent to me.
02:43We're really smart you, really, quickly...
02:43But we need better luck for our Jesus plan together and it's impossible for our life.
