A massive explosion shook the Chevron El Segundo Refinery near Los Angeles, sending flames and smoke high into the sky. The fire was visible for miles, with residents reporting the force of the blast. Although large parts of the blaze were contained, smoke and fire were still present the following day. Fortunately, no casualties were reported and all personnel were accounted for.
