00:00Here at the Kingswood Trust, fantastic outdoor pursuits centre, base, for people who don't know

00:07about the Kingswood Trust, what do you do exactly here? So, the Kingswood Trust, we support our

00:13wider community with outdoor day and residential experiences. We support schools, nurseries,

00:21the wider community supporting elderly and people with dementia as well, with outdoor activities.

00:30And you're kind of on the, technically you come under Wolverhampton, just about, South Staffs,

00:37South Staffs, wouldn't it? You're kind of on the Shropshire border.

00:40So we're very close to Wolverhampton City Centre, yes, Staffordshire, right on the border.

00:46So are you appealing to people from the Black Country and Shropshire then in terms of your events?

00:51We do, we try and reach as wide as, as far as possible and to our local communities as well.

00:58And you've got fantastic grounds, there's some lovely pools that have just been refurbished

01:02and worked on. And this magical climbing tree behind us, which I think is great, I mean

01:08it brings out the kid in me, it just makes me want to create it.

01:10It does, yes. So a lot of our, the work that we do here as well, we promote social, emotional

01:17and, and, and health and wellbeing through forest school and, and nature-based activities.

01:22You have loads of events going on throughout the year. You've got a fungus event tomorrow,

01:28fungus foray. We're here today, we're giving you a little plug, 18th of October, you've got the

01:34Green Festival. So what, what's that all about?

01:37So the Green Gathering will, erm, will open up our beautiful nine acre site, erm, to the public, erm,

01:45to come and engage in activities that support, erm, sustainability, biodiversity, erm, and promote, erm,

01:55erm, I'm sorry. No, you've got a fucking snippet you see, so yeah, yeah.

01:59Erm, erm, helps people, erm, engage in their recycling and, erm, reusing as well, helps them,

02:08supports them with, erm, activities at home as well. So does that mean this fantastic climbing

02:13tree will be kind of open for? Yeah, so the grounds will be open, we'll have, erm, a green

02:18trail, what people can engage with, and we'll have our adventure areas, erm, and climbing areas,

02:25er, as well. Fantastic, well thank you for all the good work you do here, and erm, guys,
