Elizabeth travels to her old hometown to buy the city's ski resort on behalf of her future father-in-law. However, the owner of the resort, Randy, is unwilling to sell and also turns out to be an old schoolmate. Without a quick deal, Elizabeth is forced to stay and consequently meet her sister and their parents. Her sister is completely focused on winning The Christmas Classic for the tenth year in a row, but Elizabeth becomes determined to finally beat her sister and soon she has won Randy over to her side.
