Palm tree fireworks light the night sky at Nit de l’Albà festival

Filmer Mati’s lens froze the perfect moments when the glowing explosions reached their peak.

"The Nit de l'Alba in Elche is a traditional festival celebrated on the night of August 13, the eve of the Assumption of the Virgin," Mati told WooGlobe.

"It is a spectacular fireworks display, known for its palm tree fireworks that are launched from the Basilica of Santa María."

Fireworks erupted and painted the night sky as if it was the view out of a fantasy movie.
