Local Body Elections. The Telangana government has given a GO providing 42 percent reservation to BCs in the local body elections. Reddy Jagruti leaders have gone to the High Court challenging this GO. All BCs are worried about this. However, legal experts say that those who want to contest should wait until October 8. They are warning that if they spend unnecessarily, they will get into debt.
స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పిస్తూ తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం జీవో ఇచ్చింది. ఈ జీవోను సవాల్ చేస్తూ రెడ్డి జాగృతి నేతలు హైకోర్టు వెళ్లారు. దీంతో బీసీలంతా ఆందోళనగా ఉన్నారు. అయితే పోటీ చేయాలనుకునే వారు అక్టోబర్ 8 వరకు ఆగాలని న్యాయ నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు. అనవసరంగా ఖర్చు చేస్తే అప్పుల పాలవుతారని హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.
