00:12Operations were suspended late Thursday evening when drones were spotted flying above the airport.
00:18As a result, 17 departing flights were cancelled, while another 15 arrivals were diverted to nearby cities, including Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Vienna and Frankfurt.
00:28Nearly 3,000 passengers were affected by the disruption. By early Friday, flights gradually resumed.
00:35Only a handful of cancellations remained on the departure board, and passengers were seen checking in for a flight to Varna, Bulgaria.
00:42Authorities said the drones were sighted in the dark, making it difficult to determine their size or type.
