A 25-YEAR-OLD WOMAN in London has covered her Lamborghini Aventador in two million crystals. Daria Radionova spent over $445,000 on the Lamborghini but refused to say how much it cost to apply the crystals to the car. The Aventador is Daria’s fourth crystal-covered car, after she was inspired by a pair of crystal-covered Louboutin shoes she owns. The spectacular car modification was accomplished by a team that included cake decorators and henna artists and took over three months to complete.

00:27the Lamborghini will always reign supreme.

00:31But what happens when you take an Aventador

00:33and give it the ultimate bling makeover?

00:47This is Daria, and she's done just that.

00:50My name is Daria Rodionova,

00:52and I own the world's first crystal-covered Lamborghini.

00:56It might be the first of its kind,

00:58but Daria's inspiration for her bedazzled car came from something a lot smaller.

01:03So basically, I had shoes from Laboutin covered in crystals.

01:08And I was like, why not to cover my car like this, full of crystals?

01:12And that's how the idea came up.

01:17Girls, we love diamonds.

01:18We love everything shiny and sparkling.

01:20So that's why I decided to put crystals.

01:24Because I like something shiny, shiny look.

01:27There are two million crystals on the Aventador.

01:30It took around three months to finish the job.

01:33Every single crystal was applied by hand.

01:41Taking on the task of kitting out this Lamborghini with thousands of crystals was Amir.

01:45I'm the owner and founder of Cars in Cloaks, and here we have a simple rule.

01:52So the car came to us in red.

01:54I was scared.

01:56I was like, I'm not going to do it.

01:57So not only, I'm taking on a Lamborghini.

02:00Yeah, one of the most popular, expensive supercars that I'm covering with two million crystals.

02:07No way I'm doing it.

02:08We had not done anything so extensive to a Lamborghini Aventador.

02:12And we ended up doing the craziest thing to it.

02:15The process of covering the car in crystals was meticulous.

02:18The first layer is a see-through PPF layer, which protects the paint from stone shapes and whatnot.

02:23On top of that, we've got black vinyl, which says there's a base for the crystals.

02:28The crystals are also black to enhance it.

02:30So we went for a gloss black finish underneath.

02:33And then there's glue on top of the vinyl, which holds the crystals down.

02:36So in theory, if she ever wants to go back to red, she can.

02:41The bonnet took probably about five days for two people to complete.

02:44There were times where I thought I would give up.

02:47Team almost had it.

02:49So a lot of late nights, a lot of pizzas.

02:52With the Aventador being one of the priciest cars on the market,

02:56covering it with crystals must have been expensive.

03:00I got the car for £350,000, and because it has crystals now, it's priceless.

03:07I can't say how much it costs, because it's a secret.

03:11Covering one car in crystals is a huge challenge, but incredibly, this isn't a first for Daria.

03:17So Lamborghini Aventador is not the first car I had covered in crystals.

03:22Before that, I had Mercedes CLS covered in crystals.

03:26And then I had Bentley, and then I had Lamborghini Huracan.

03:30So after Huracan, I decided that I wanted to upgrade it, and I got Aventador.

03:35Driving this pimped-out supercar around London, it's no surprise it attracts a fair amount of attention.

03:41I do not predict how popular the car will become.

03:46In my opinion, Lamborghini, especially Aventador, is the best car on earth.

03:52I love the drive, I love the handle of the car, I love the power, the sound, the look, everything.

04:02Some people say that I wasted so much money on this car, which is not true.

04:08That's something that I really love, it's my hobby, and I love fast cars.

04:11So the next car I'm planning to cover in crystals is going to be Bugatti.
