00:00Three men have been charged after police uncovered a bizarrely booby-trapped $2 million cannabis operation in a Cheltenham factory.
00:11Detectives raided the Mill Street site and a Springvale unit on the 24th of September,
00:17seizing more than 500 plants weighing around 400 kilograms, along with $20,000 cash and cannabis seedlings.
00:24A 33-year-old man and two 18-year-olds were arrested and charged,
00:30as police also discovered dangerous booby traps, including live wires, with one officer narrowly avoiding injury.
00:39The trio were refused bail and will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court in December.
