00:00Hey there, it's me, your friendly plush toy.
00:03Yeah, I know I look pretty cuddly now, but did you ever wonder where I've been?
00:07Let me take you back, all the way to Poland, 1939.
00:11Back then I belonged to a little girl named Zofia.
00:14She squeezed me tight as her world changed overnight.
00:17War arrived like a storm, loud, frightening and impossible to hide from.
00:22Zofia's family had to leave their home, she could only take one thing with her.
00:26Guess who she chose?
00:27Yep, me.
00:28We travelled together, on trains, through forests, hiding in crowded rooms.
00:33Sometimes she cried into my fur.
00:36Sometimes she smiled and told me stories just so things felt a little normal.
00:40I saw grown-ups act brave, but I also saw them scared.
00:43I learned a lot about hope, even when things seemed so dark.
00:48Years passed.
00:49Zofia grew up, but she never let me go.
00:51I became a secret keeper, a soft reminder of childhood, of courage,
00:55and of holding on when it felt easy to let go.
00:58Now, I sit on a shelf, a little faded, but still here.
01:01My stitches might be old, but my memories are strong.
01:05Sometimes one small plush can hold an entire piece of history.
01:08All the love, fear and hope stitched right inside.
01:12So next time you hug your favourite plush, remember, we've got stories too.
01:16You just have to listen.
01:17You just have to listen.
01:17Oh, uh...
01:19You just have to listen.
