00:00Welcome to Absalune, the original rogue-em-up set in the fantasy world of Talan.

00:13In Absalune, you control one of four outcast heroes on a mission to overthrow the tyranny

00:19of the Sun-King Azra, who banned the use of magic after a cataclysm ravaged the world.

00:30You can play Absalune as a lone hero, or with a friend in local and online co-op.

00:42During your perilous journey, you will be able to choose different paths and upgrades for your character,

00:48fight different minions and mini-bosses, and liberate new rituals to make use of their powers in battle.

00:55As you explore the world, you will discover new regions, enemies, quests, and challenging bosses,

01:03who will give you a hard time while trying to put an early end to your mission.

01:08And yet, your mission is above death itself.

01:14When you fall in battle, the forbidden rituals of Mother Uchawi and her root sisters will resurrect you in her secret sanctuary.

01:22In the sanctuary, you will encounter different NPCs who can boost your abilities,

01:31give you access to different arcana moves, or even merge different rituals to create more powerful combinations.

01:38In the few safe places that are left in Talam, you will be able to recruit mercenaries to join you in your quest

01:48and help you dispatch the minions of the Sun-King who dare stand in your path.

01:53According to your favorite playstyle, you can choose to fight as the sturdy Brawler Karl,

02:03the agile and acrobatic Sider,

02:07the well-rounded Swordfighter Galandra,

02:10or the long-range magic wielding Brome.

02:14The root sisters will reward your exploits on the field,

02:19materializing boons such as gold,

02:22which can be spent at the local merchants to acquire powerful gear, new rituals, and buffs.

02:30Mounts will also boost your combat abilities.

02:33You can charge upon your enemies, spit fire at them, or shower them with acidic goo.

02:38Just make sure to show some kindness to your loyal steed from time to time.
