00:00You did say that like communication is key when it comes to your kids. How do you talk to your

00:04kids about stuff like that? Because your kids obviously are your top priority and you and

00:08Tarek and Heather and Chris top priority. How do you talk to them about stuff like that?

00:13I'm not saying that I'm doing it right and everyone's different, but like growing up,

00:16I mean, we grew up in a different era. Like me and my parents didn't communicate about things,

00:20right? It's just sort of, you kind of just push things aside, you know, swoop it under the rug.

00:24But with my kids, like I want to be open and honest and they don't want them to make the

00:28same mistakes that I made. I want them to be able to come to me with anything and everything.

00:32And I will always listen, give my advice, but I won't be judging them if they don't listen. It's

00:37just, I want to put it out there. I love that. You said that, you know, after you told them

00:41that you were moving on, that you danced on the countertops, that you did. You danced on the

00:46countertops. Like what a relief for everybody. It must've been so nice for you as a mom. I can't,

00:52I can't imagine. Cause as a mom, I can't imagine how you must've felt like seeing them so happy that

00:57you decided to put that in the past. Cause I know you said on the show, like he wasn't nice to me.

01:01Yeah. What, I mean, what was that like that moment for you guys as a family?

01:04Well, the kids would bring it up to me and they'd be like, you know, dad and Heather hold hands and

01:08dad and Heather are cuddly. Like you guys don't like each other. You guys never hug. You don't

01:14hold hands. Like you don't even look at each other. Like you like each other. That's a really

01:17sad thing to hear. And I'm like, what am I doing? Showing them that this is normal. Like I'm not

01:23happy and they can see that. So it's just, it's such a lesson. And then when, you know,

01:28we first split up my Brayden, my 10 year old now, he slept in bed with me and he was like,

01:34it's like literally like this old soul took over and he was just speaking like life into me and

01:39telling me how wonderful I am. And all it was, it was so sweet. And he was just like, you're a

01:45wonderful, you're a wonderful mom. You're a great person. You're like amazing. You just make

01:50really bad choices. He said, dad's the best. I thought you made bad choices. Sorry, Tariq.
