Christina Haack Weighs In on HGTV's Jen and Brandon Hatmaker's Divorce Drama

00:00There's been another HGTV couple that's been going through like, you know, divorce headlines

00:05and things like that. Brandon and Jen, what advice do you have for somebody that's kind of

00:10going through it? And like all the headlines are about them right now. And you know, it's just a

00:14lot of attention, a lot of eyes. Um, you know, my publicist, my best friends right here, but I would

00:19say to what she taught me at the beginning is you got, you have, you have to ignore it and you kind

00:24of have to like shut up because if you buy into it, no matter how much you're hurting, no matter

00:29how much you want your story out there, like it just, it'll never end. So I think my best advice

00:35is to like, just try to stay in your tight-knit group and literally do not Google. Yeah. Do not

00:41do not Google comments and I feel very bad for them. And it's so hard to go through that publicly,

00:46but yeah, you know, there have been some changes at HGTV over the past couple of months. Were you

00:52surprised about Christine on the coast? Well, it hasn't officially been canceled, but, um, you know,

00:58yes and no, I'm so grateful for that show and I hope it comes back someday, but I think if it did,

01:04and hopefully it does in a different format, that is more real, that show was shot different than the

01:09flip-off and it was more HGTV. But I think that if it came back, it needs to be more authentic and

01:14live in the moment. And like, there was real drama when you're remodeling someone's house,

01:17especially with the homeowner that all gets cut out. So I just think it would have to be more

01:22about that. Sure.
