The Hamas resistance movement is currently assessing a ceasefire agreement in the Palestinian territories proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. The proposal was presented to Hamas by Egypt and Qatar, with emphasis on the movement’s commitment to approach it in a responsible manner. For its part, the White House announced that the plan was discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who claimed to have the support of leaders from Arab and Islamic countries. In response, Hamas negotiators stated that their mediators will study the plan and submit a formal reply.
