00:18has found an issue relating to the ship's hull.
00:21Part of what it needs to do is double-check all the calculations
00:24that were made in the design of it,
00:27but with changes to that, alterations need to be made.
00:31Ferry operator TT Line says it was running through berthing scenarios
00:34when it found the issue.
00:36In the scheme of things, this is a very, very minor issue.
00:40It's a matter of record that the delivery of these ships
00:44and getting them into service as quickly as possible
00:47hasn't gone smoothly.
00:49It's still looking at solutions.
00:51They might involve modifications to the fenders and ships.
00:55What happens if, you know, you have particularly bad weather?
00:58What happens if one of the thrusters on the ships fails?
01:01And when we've looked at those,
01:03we've found that there's a slight specification problem with the fenders.
01:07Further details about the nature of the problem
01:09and the proposed fix have not been released.
01:12But it's been confirmed Spirit 5,
01:14which is still docked in its finished shipyard where it was built,
01:18will also need its hull upgraded.
01:20This is a brand new ship that hasn't even spent a day in service
01:23and it already needs upgrades.
01:25What on earth is going on here?
01:27TT Line says it's still working out the cost,
01:29but it says any modifications will be completed
01:32within the current budget and timeline.
