02:17So, cooperation is key and very important.

02:21And there is no other way to be able to overcome these threats.

02:27Proper organization or the interaction of security agencies

02:31is not limited to reducing the consequences of emergencies

02:34but it is also crucial in terms of improving the well-being of citizens

02:38and ensuring the security and legitimacy interests of the State

02:42by supporting the implementation of humanitarian measures.

02:46The UN represented at the forum for the first time

02:49reflecting the importance of international conversations

02:52paving the way for real-world impact.

02:54From a United Nations perspective,

02:57attending events such as this provide us an opportunity

03:01to engage with a critical part of the security apparatus

03:05namely heads of counter-terrorism and security agencies

03:08it allows us to understand from their perspective

03:11the threats they face, challenges

03:14but also allows us to discuss with them

03:17any capacity-building gaps they may have.

03:20It certainly helps us to build our strategies

03:25based off our information

03:26and there is nothing better than doing it face-to-face.

03:29The forum also paved the way

03:30as a platform for constructive dialogue

03:32between countries that have been partied to conflicts

03:35such as Azerbaijan and Armenia.

03:37It was a sentiment echoed by the directors

03:39of the National Intelligence Service of Kenya and Argentina.

03:42I mean, if you can't talk and sit down

03:44there's no way then you'll be able to solve

03:47the many myriad problems that we are facing

03:49the many security challenges

03:51whether it's Ukraine-Russia war

03:54or what's happening in Gaza

03:56or in Sudan and other African countries

03:59it's only through dialogue and forums like this

04:03that solutions can be found

04:05and it's the only way that we can get best practices

04:08and also learn from each other

04:11on how best to solve these problems

04:14that we are facing globally.

04:16In three days we were able to have access

04:18to meetings with many of these countries.

04:21In three days or two days

04:23we achieved what normally takes two years.

04:26Relationships are strengthened.

04:28Trusses are strengthened.

04:30Countries or services

04:32with which we would never had so many relationships.

04:34From geopolitical tensions

04:37and renewed debates

04:38on multilateralism

04:39and security priorities

04:41the conversations here reflected

04:43both the urgency

04:44and complexity

04:45of today's global security challenges.
