00:45I made a video a few months ago about the very beginning of season three, and now the river man's come to collect.

06:02This season is a really interesting positioning of Conrad and Jeremiah.
06:05Like, season one, Conrad was one of those broody, emo, sad anime boys.

06:10because, you know, they're like 17 or whatever, right?
06:12But now that they're adults, though,
06:14like, Conrad has really come into his own,
06:16and he's, like, way cooler now.
06:17And Jeremiah's whole, like, cowabunga dude personality
06:20is not exactly paying the bills, you know what I'm saying?
06:22Like, Conrad's grown up so much over this season, it's crazy.
06:25But, of course, he can't escape his true feelings for Belly,

08:59However, while this is all happening,

09:38But things are just not quite right for Belly.
09:40Like, everything just feels so real and it's moving so fast.
09:42They're like, of course she loves Jeremiah,
09:44but Conrad has bangs and feelings at the same time, okay?
09:48What's a girl supposed to do?
09:49So it's time for the bachelor-bachelorette parties
09:50and everyone's getting a little messy,
09:52except Conrad, because he just like, doesn't do that anymore.

09:56But after it's all over,
09:57Belly is supposed to meet Jeremiah at the beach
09:58for a special little rendezvous, you know what I'm saying?

12:58and just decides to go to Paris by herself.

13:00forget all these dumb boys
13:01with their dumb low body fat
13:03and perfectly symmetrical faces
13:04and, like,
13:05I don't need facial hair
13:06to hide my weak chin.
13:07And so Belly finds herself in Paris,
13:26alone, no school, no anything.
13:28At first, she just wants to go home
13:29and, like, you know,
13:30maybe she and Jeremiah
13:31could work things out.
13:31Like, sure,
13:32her entire life back there
13:33totally sucks
13:34and it's completely ruined,
13:35but it's the kind of depressing disaster
13:36that she's familiar with.
13:37And that's way better
13:38than something new and scary.
13:39But then she makes a few friends
13:40and has a few little adventures
13:41and realizes that
13:42she could totally make this work
13:43if she just, you know,
13:45tried.

16:26really bad

16:27skills.
16:28And this brings us
16:28to the final episode
16:29of the entire show.
16:31So, Conrad shows up
16:32in Paris at
16:32Belly's apartment,
16:33which he knows
16:33the location of
16:34because she finally
16:35wrote him back
16:35one day.

17:24friends have set up

19:17why-did-I's
19:18overruling the
19:19possibilities of
19:19tomorrow's wish-I-hads.
19:20And so she sends
19:21Conrad on his way
19:22because she has
19:23her own life now.
19:24She doesn't need
19:24to be tied down
19:25to Conrad,
19:25Jeremiah,
19:26the cousin's house,
19:27none of that.
19:27And that's where
19:28the show ends.
19:29Or it should have,
19:30but guess who
19:31belly chases down
19:32right after this?
19:35Is this he taken?
19:39Conrad.
19:39I choose you.
19:50You guys maybe want to
19:51sit down at least?
19:52And so at the very end
19:53of the show,
19:54belly chooses Conrad
19:55and that's where
19:56the show actually ends.
19:57Which is so
19:58freaking stupid!
19:59And now we present
20:04to you,
20:04Alex getting
20:05irrationally upset
20:06about a cheesy
20:07romance show.
20:07I mean like,
20:09okay,
20:10so the entire show
20:11is about how
20:11belly's world
20:12is so small
20:12and she only knows
20:13these guys
20:14and they're like
20:14the only boys
20:15she's ever interacted
20:16with or whatever,
20:16right?
20:17She spends all three
20:17seasons like
20:18tennis ball bouncing
20:19between them,
20:19but like I said,
20:20the underlying
20:20foundation of everything
20:21is how this is the
20:22only life she's ever
20:23known,
20:23okay?
20:23And so finally,
20:24at the end of the show,
20:25she gets a taste
20:26of actual freedom.
20:27She's living in France,
20:28no family,
20:28no Conrad,
20:29Jeremiah,
20:30nothing.
20:30And she grows
20:31and learns
20:32and blossoms
20:32or whatever,
20:33right?
20:34Like she can speak
20:34French fluently,
20:35she figured all this
20:36out on her own,
20:36she's dating other guys,
20:37like look at how well
20:38she's doing.
20:38You see this bob
20:39she has going on?
20:40Amazing stuff.
20:41And then she throws
20:41it all away
20:42just to go back
20:43to Conrad
20:44after all of this.
20:45She finally has
20:46her own piece of the world
20:47that she carved out
20:47herself.
20:48She just shrugs it off
20:49and goes back
20:50to this nonsense?
20:51I was loving the way
20:52the show was about to end.
20:53Like even Conrad
20:54coming to visit,
20:55you know,
20:55and then belly telling him
20:56that all this was just
20:56a life that was put
20:57upon them by adults,
20:58but now she has
20:59her own life
20:59and her own world
21:00and her own goals
21:01and dreams and friends
21:02that she made
21:02by her own choice?
21:03The show should have
21:04had a bittersweet ending
21:05right there
21:05with both of them
21:06realizing that life
21:07has moved on
21:07past all of this
21:08and everything they
21:09thought was so important
21:10was just them
21:10going through the motions
21:11that they were like
21:12heavily pushed into doing.
21:13But no,
21:14just to go back
21:15to Conrad
21:15because heaven forbid
21:16she expand her life
21:17in any way.
21:18Now I totally understand
21:19what they're going for,
21:20okay?
21:20Where she chooses Conrad
21:21because she wants to
21:22and not because of
21:23Suzanne or Jeremiah
21:24or this and that
21:25or whoever, right?
21:26It should have been belly
21:27closing the door
21:28on all of this
21:28and proceeding forward
21:29with the life
21:30that she built for herself.
21:31You don't need
21:31no freaking Bonrad
21:32or whatever the ship name is.
21:36Anyway,
21:36turns out this is
21:37going to be a movie now too.
