Based on the popular Indonesian survival-horror video game, DreadOut follows Linda and her group of high school friends who sneak into an abandoned, supposedly haunted apartment complex to livestream their exploration. What begins as a fun thrill-seeking stunt quickly turns deadly when Linda accidentally opens a portal to a nightmarish dimension filled with vengeful spirits and supernatural entities. Armed only with her smartphone’s camera, Linda must uncover the mystery behind the cursed place and battle terrifying ghosts to save herself and her friends before they are all dragged into the spirit world forever.
