00:0037 points, four passing touchdowns, 270 yards, a passer rating of 124.8.
00:09So it is possible.
00:11Huh?
00:12Mahomes is allowed to play really well in a regular season game.
00:16They're allowed to score a bunch of points.
00:17One final thing on the Ravens.
00:19No bigger sign that their defense is cooked than Mahomes actually having a game like this
00:24in the regular season because, Joe, it feels like it's been ages.
00:29It was.
00:29It really does.
00:30But Worthy was back in that lineup.
00:32And we expect him back now.
00:33Right.
00:33But he completely changes that offense.
00:36When Worthy's out, they're handcuffed and completely one-dimensional.
00:40Can't stretch.
00:41Defense is over the top.
00:42He gets the big catch, you know, to really build momentum.
00:46They utilized him in the reverse game as well.
00:48Hits a big run to put them down into scoring position.
00:52And he is the reason why this offense clicks to a certain degree.
00:56Now, are they going to maintain the consistency from week four straight through the end of the regular season and potentially an AFC and a Super Bowl championship?
01:05I doubt it because I just don't think they're that type of team.
01:09But against the Ravens, against the team that they have owned, I think it was more that they exploited a team that was dead and buried right now.
01:17More so than this offense all of a sudden awakening and Pat Mahomes turning into the quarterback or the offense, I should say, turning into what we saw three years ago with Tyreek Hill.
01:28So, I totally agree.
01:30I really – and, again, it's a little tongue-in-cheek.
01:33I think this is a big signal about how bad Baltimore is.
01:36Right.
01:36And that's why we talked about Baltimore off the top.
01:39But Mahomes – that is the first time Mahomes has thrown four touchdown passes in a regular season game since week seven of 2023.
01:47I mean, we're talking nearly a two-year run out, okay?
01:50And I know it's like, oh, four is a lot.
01:52Patrick Mahomes, okay?
01:53I'm not talking – we're not talking about Kirk Cousins or something like that.
01:56We're talking about Patrick Mahomes.
01:58So, there will be people who you will hear, I think, say, told you, still the best, still the guy.
02:05Hold on, okay?
02:06Nobody, even Mahomes' biggest critics, are under the impression that these games aren't within him.
02:13We all know they are, and it's why they're so dangerous in the playoffs because you get into these playoffs,
02:18and he's basically one, oh, there he is, game away from putting him in the Super Bowl, right?
02:24Right.
02:24He's got the one seed and all that.
02:25Here is what you want to see from Patrick Mahomes.
02:30Do it again.
02:32And I don't mean next week, but I mean when you play bad defenses, which Baltimore, at the minimum right now, clearly is.
02:41I want this.
02:42They've got the Raiders two more times on that schedule.
02:44That defense is bad.
02:45They play Dallas on this schedule.
02:47Oh, me, oh, my.
02:49They play the Tennessee Titans on this schedule.
02:51Joe, there should be at least three or four or five other games on this schedule.
02:59We're home stores for three-plus touchdowns.
03:01There should be.
03:02This year.
03:02There should be.
03:03And that's what I am looking for from, again, a guy who is a consensus, already top five quarterback in the history of football.
03:11For many people, top two, three quarterback in the history of football is supposed to be the prime of his career.
03:16I want to see prime of his career football.
03:18Right.
03:18But that's on Andy Reid, and that's on the team to build an offensive identity again.
03:22They did it with Tyreek Hill.
03:24They did it for a couple of years when Hill wasn't there.
03:26They changed it up.
03:27They relied more on the rushing attack.
03:29Yeah.
03:29I broke it down in the pregame yesterday, and they had 325 rushing yards heading into that matchup yesterday.
03:38One 25 was Pat Mahomes.
03:41Yeah.
03:41They averaged 66.3 rushing yards for the first three weeks of the regular season.
03:47They have no – they don't even have a hint of a rushing attack.
03:51They beat up on a team that couldn't stop the run yesterday.
03:54Now, they only averaged 3.7 yards per carry and pounded it for 118 yards on the ground, but 38 came on the reverse to worthy.
04:02I'm talking about lining it up with Pacheco and Hunt, who are another running back, and we're going to run it down your throat.
04:08They cannot do that against the better teams in the AFC, and that's why I can't buy into them big picture.
04:14And that's why I certainly can't buy into them if they play the Eagles in a rematch Super Bowl type of setting,
04:19because that front seven will shut down the run.
04:22They'll put Pat Mahomes into long third downs, and Jalen Carter and that front seven are going to eat them alive just the way they did last year.
04:29And that is the problem.
04:31They got by it yesterday because the Ravens were 3-10 on third down conversions,
04:36and when you just hand the football over, short fields, turnovers to Pat Mahomes,
04:41yeah, we could do anything we want because that defense is terrible.
04:44But against the better teams, if they face off against the Bills, you know, they're going to have to put up points.
04:50And I don't know if they could do it this year on a consistent basis.
04:54And again, I can't buy into them.
