00:00I'll be honest, as a dog lover, I wasn't sure about the idea of a cat cafe, but Bedford Cat Cafe quickly changed my mind.

00:08From the moment I arrived, it felt warm, welcoming and full of happy cats enjoying life.

00:14Right in the heart of Bedford's High Street, it's a cosy little spot that draws you in the second you peek inside.

00:21Everywhere you look, there are little touches that celebrate the cats.

00:26Their stories, their quirks and the joy they bring.

00:28Each one is a rescue with its own personality.

00:33Some are playful, while others prefer to relax, and some just love being near people.

00:39A few are cheeky, especially around food, while others show off their energy climbing and darting about, or simply curling up for a nap.

00:48Families, friends and regulars all come here to relax.

00:52For some, it's even a safe, therapeutic space.

00:55By the end of my visit, I realised this cafe isn't just about coffee.
