Ladakh on High Alert: Public Gatherings Banned in Leh After Violence

Following the September 24 violence in Leh, authorities have imposed prohibitions under Sec 163 of BNSS, 2023. Assembly of five or more people is banned, and no procession, rally, or march can be held without prior written approval. Security personnel have been deployed across the district to maintain law and order.
