00:00Let's move on to the other big game of week four,
00:03which would be the Dallas Cowboys at home hosting the Green Bay Packers.
00:09It is a six and a half point spread in favor of the road Packers.
00:12We have a 46 and a half over under,
00:14and it is the return of Micah Parsons to Dallas.
00:18The summer saga came to conclusion after the final preseason game,
00:23just about a week before week one kicked off.
00:25He was traded from the Cowboys to the Packers.
00:30Odds changed.
00:31We know what went down.
00:33The Packers giving up a couple of picks along with Kenny Clark.
00:37Jerry Jones and the Cowboys insistent that they made the right move.
00:41Joe, so much changed,
00:43and this is all to note that the Packers are coming off a brutal loss to the Browns last week.
00:49Initial thoughts for this.
00:50Well, you talk about it was a couple of years ago
00:53where Dallas was a six and a half point home favorite over Jordan Love
00:57and the Green Bay Packers in a playoff game.
00:59He got kicked in the teeth by Matt LaFleur and the Pack, right?
01:04Now, Micah Parsons was not on that team.
01:06He led them to a 2-0 overall record to start the year.
01:09Everybody bought in.
01:10It's Super Bowl or a bust for Matt LaFleur.
01:13The saving grace, Micah Parsons, is on Lambeau Field.
01:17I'll just say this.
01:18Good for Jerry Jones.
01:20He made the right decision.
01:21I buy into what Jerry said.
01:23He gave him an offer that he couldn't refuse.
01:26He turned it down.
01:27He reached out to the all-time greats like Mike Irvin and said,
01:30Mike, it's about the team.
01:31Micah didn't want to buy in.
01:33So they shipped him to Green Bay,
01:34and this is one of my better picks to the day.
01:37Jerry doesn't forget.
01:38He might not say it.
01:40Bags of cash in the Dallas locker room today
01:43for anybody that steps up offensively, defensively.
01:47I think the Dallas Cowboys win this game outright.
01:50Ooh.
01:51Spicy take here that Cowboys will exact some type of revenge on Sunday night football,
01:56but that's not the only news surrounding Dallas that last week they lost CeeDee Lamb
02:01due to a high ankle sprain.
02:03They lined him up in the backfield the Cowboys did against the Bears,
02:08and listen, when it's all said and done,
02:10you know, losing CeeDee Lamb for three to four weeks is terrible for their offense.
02:13It hurts their overall playmaking potential,
02:15but the fact that they got shut out in the second half at Chicago
02:19against that type of defense is unacceptable.
02:23Now, the running back room coming into the season was pretty average to begin with.
02:27Javante Williams is off to a good start this season.
02:30Miles Sanders, we know that they traded for George Pickens,
02:32but they're going to need players to step up and fill the offensive void
02:36that CeeDee Lamb leaves on offense.
02:39So, it comes down to Pickens, Jake Ferguson, Turpin, Tolbert,
02:44and then the running back room.
02:45There's a lot going on with Dallas this week.
02:47And I think they can get the football to those secondary wide receivers.
02:51They're still averaging 268 passing yards per game,
02:54rushing for about 125 on the ground.
02:57You know, when you look at this matchup going up against Jordan Love,
03:00and Jordan Love has stepped up over the first three weeks.
03:03Got contained in the second half by Cleveland last week,
03:05but the first two games of the regular season,
03:07we saw the Green Bay Packers become more balanced.
03:10I thought last year they relied solely on Josh Jacobs down the stretch.
03:15Definitely in the loss against Philadelphia in the NFC divisional game,
03:19they were one-dimensional.
03:20Jordan Love was under complete arrest throughout that game,
03:23and they changed it up through the first couple weeks of the regular season.
03:27You saw Cleveland, a better defense, sort of exposed them in that game, I thought.
03:31And when you look at this game right now, the concern so much for Green Bay isn't Josh Jacobs.
03:37Can they attack that secondary that Caleb Williams has attacked,
03:41that Russell Wilson has attacked, 450, right?
03:44Caleb with a breakout performance.
03:46Dallas enters this game, Tom, allowing 297 passing yards per game.
03:51If they can't attack it early, Dallas is going to be within margin,
03:55and we'll see how it plays out.
03:56But I don't have a concern so much as long as Dak is healthy.
