The former Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt talks about how unique Patrick Mahomes has been.

00:00How unique is Patrick Mahomes?

00:02He's so unique that I go from, you know, 70, 80, 90 punts in a year to 40-something.

00:09And he's coming over there saying, hey, like, good punt.

00:11And I know you don't punt a lot, but at least that was a good one.

00:14And you're going like, oh, man, they're not going to need me anymore, maybe.

00:17But, yeah, that Chiefs brand of football that we've been used to, you know, since 2018,

00:22Pat's first year playing the full season, has been fun to watch.

00:26I mean, he comes in with energy.

00:28He's a first in, last guy out.

00:30And so he is just one of those guys that you want to follow.

00:34You want to be there.

00:35And even though I was much older than him when he got there, like, he's very inclusive of everybody, has not changed.

00:41I went back and officially retired in June.

00:43And he went down and covered my last punt.

00:46Like, he wants to be involved, and he makes the place a better place at work.
